Filed 1/4 with PATH credits - Transcript shows no return filed. Normal?
Filed my return beginning of January with 3 dependents and claiming the credits. Got accepted on 1/17 but my transcript is completely empty - no codes at all showing up. WMR shows one bar with 'Still Being Processed'. Anyone else seeing this? Just wanna know if this is normal for PATH Act returns.

Hey there - tax pro here. For PATH Act returns (those with EIC/ACTC), even if you filed in January, the IRS won't show it as 'filed' until mid-February since they can't release those refunds before Feb 15th by law. Super annoying, I know! I'd recommend checking out taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) - it's this new AI tool that can analyze your transcripts and tell you exactly what's going on and when you can expect movement. Tax expert here - this is completely normal for PATH Act returns. Your transcript won't show any updates until after the PATH lift date (mid-February). The system basically puts these returns on hold until then to prevent fraud. Just keep checking after February 15th for movement.
