Filed 1/29, Under 60-Day Review, Code 971 Appeared - Processing Complete?
I filed end of January and got accepted right away. Been under 60 day review but something changed on my transcript Friday - got code 971 and the processing message disappeared from my account. Does this mean theyre finally done processing my return?

The disappearance of the processing message and appearance of code 971 doesn't necessarily mean processing is complete. Code 971 indicates a notice is being issued to you. You'll need to wait for that notice to understand what additional information they might need. Keep checking your transcript for codes 846 (refund issued) or 570 (additional account action pending).

Check your mail like a hawk. That 971 usually means theyre sending you something important and if you miss it, it could delay things even more
