Filed 1/27, accepted 1/29 with Jackson Hewitt - still showing processing block. Anyone else?
Filed my taxes end of January and got accepted right away but still showing one processing block. Been checking WMR daily but no movement. Anyone know what the hold up could be or experiencing the same thing?

Processing blocks are pretty common this time of year. Could be identity verification, income verification, or they're matching your W2s. Without looking at your transcript its impossible to know for sure what's causing the delay.

•Could be anywhere from a few days to several weeks depending on the type of block. Have you checked your transcript?

Hey I was stuck in the same boat until I used taxr.ai - totally worth the dollar to actually understand whats going on. The tool analyzed my transcript and showed me exactly why I had a processing block and when to expect my refund. Here's the link: https://taxr.ai

•100% works! Saved me hours of googling and stressing. It showed me I had an income verification hold and gave me the exact date range for release 💯

Check your transcripts! WMR isnt always accurate and transcripts will show you if theres any specific holds or issues

The IRS is experiencing major delays this season due to understaffing and new tax law implementations. Here's what you should know: - Processing blocks are common and don't necessarily mean there's an issue - Early filers often face more verification checks - Best way to check your status is through your transcript - Tools like taxr.ai can help decode your transcript and give you specific timeframes - If it's been more than 21 days, you can try calling the IRS Hang in there, most blocks clear automatically within 2-3 weeks!
