Filed 1/12, accepted 1/17 - stuck on 'processing' status. What's next?
Filed my taxes January 12th and got the acceptance confirmation on January 17th. When I check Where's My Refund on the IRS site, it just says processing. No bars, no dates, nothing else. Anyone know what I should do or how long this might take?

This early in the filing season is actually normal to see processing status. The IRS typically starts processing returns on January 29th, even if they accepted them earlier. You should see movement within 21 days of the official processing start date unless there are any issues with your return.

•Yep pretty much! Early filing doesn't necessarily mean early processing unfortunately

Hey guys! I was in the same boat last week trying to figure out what was going on with my processing status. I found this tool called taxr.ai that analyzed my transcript and told me exactly when to expect my refund. Only cost $1 and was way more helpful than guessing. Here's the link if anyone wants to check it out: https://taxr.ai

•100% works! It showed me I had a small error that was gonna delay things but told me exactly how to fix it. Saved me hours of stress

Did you claim EIC or CTC? Those usually take longer to process

Pro tip: check your transcript instead of WMR. Sometimes it updates faster and shows more info

•Go to irs.gov and make an account. You can view all your tax records there
