EIC Income Limit Question - Making 52k, Do I Qualify?
Need to figure out if I can get the earned income credit. I make about 52k annually and I keep getting different answers online. Single, no kids. Anyone know the cutoff for 2024?

For 2024, if youre single with no qualifying children, the EIC income limit is $17,640. At 52k you're way over the threshold unfortunately. If you had kids it would be different - the limit goes up to $56,838 for single parents with 3+ kids.

Hey, I noticed you're trying to figure out tax credits. I was in the same boat last month trying to understand all these rules. I found this tool called taxr.ai that literally analyses your whole transcript and tells you exactly what credits you qualify for. It's like $5 but saved me hours of research. Here's the link: https://taxr.ai

•Is it legit? How does it work exactly?

•Yeah its totally legit! You just upload your transcript and it uses AI to break everything down. Shows you all eligible credits, refund timeline, everything

have you considered increasing your 401k contributions? That could lower your AGI and maybe qualify you for other credits

Make sure to check your state too, some states have their own version of EIC with different limits
