PATH Act Update: EITC/CTC Refunds Expected February 22-March 3 According to IRS Website

Finally getting close to PATH Act lifting and refund updates! Anyone else waiting for EITC/CTC? According to the IRS website, "Under the federal Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) refunds before mid-February." I've been checking the IRS website and it says "Where's My Refund? should show an updated status by February 23 for most early EITC/ACTC filers." Then it mentions "The IRS expects most EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by March 4 if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return." I've been checking every morning at 3am like a crazy person tbh. The website warns "Although the IRS issues most refunds in less than 21 days, the IRS cautions taxpayers not to rely on receiving a refund by a certain date, especially when making major purchases or paying bills. Some returns may require additional review and may take longer." Hoping we all see some movement soon on transcripts and WMR! The site says "The easiest way to check a refund's status is by using Where's My Refund? on IRS.gov or the IRS2Go app." Has anyone's transcript updated yet? Or is everyone still in the waiting game because of PATH?

H&R Block vs TurboTax State Refund Estimates Huge Difference with Child Tax Credits

Getting really different state refund estimates from H&R Block and TurboTax. Used exact same info - 23k income, 2 kids (ages 2 and 3) as dependents. H&R Block showing way less than TurboTax. Anyone know why there would be such a big difference? Starting to wonder which one is actually correct

Did you check if both programs are considering your state's specific child care credits? Some states have extra credits on top of federal ones.

Cycle 05 with dependents, approved but no WMR updates - what gives?

Filed my taxes with dependents and got approved with cycle code 05. Been checking WMR everyday but nothing is updating. My transcripts show the refund is approved but seriously where is my money? Anyone else stuck in this limbo with cycle 05?

Pro tip: stop checking WMR, it's useless rn. Transcripts are your bestfriend and they update way before WMR does.
