Can IRS audit my 2024 return before processing is complete? Transcript shows audit code
I filed my 2024 taxes this season and my transcript shows some weird audit codes, but it hasn't even been fully processed yet. Is this normal? I thought they had to finish processing before starting an audit. Getting really nervous about this.
