As Of Date changed on transcript from 2/17 to 2/24 - what does this mean?

My transcript AS OF DATE just changed from February 17 to February 24. Been checking every morning and just noticed the change. Does this mean anything? I filed in January and claimed EIC. Really need this refund soon.

The As Of date changing usually indicates the IRS is actively reviewing your return. Since you claimed EIC, remember they can't release refunds with EIC before February 15th due to PATH Act. A date change is typically a good sign - means movement on your account.

omg thank you! thats actually rly helpful. do you know how long after the date changes till refund usually comes?

0 coins

It varies, but typically 1-2 weeks after the As Of date if everything checks out. Keep an eye on your WMR tool too

Hey guys instead of checking transcripts manually every day, I've been using taxr.ai - it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect your refund. Only costs $1 and saved me so much stress. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

Is it legit? Seems too good to be true 🤔

100% legit! It uses AI to read all the codes and dates. Way better than trying to decode everything yourself

As Of dates don't mean anything anymore tbh. I've seen mine change like 5 times since January and still waiting. The whole system is broken fr
