IRS Transcript 'As Of' Date keeps switching between Feb 27 and Mar 20 2023 - What does this mean?
My transcript as of date keeps flip flopping between February 27th and March 20th. It changes like every other day. Been checking for weeks and its driving me crazy. Anyone else experiencing this or know what it means for my refund?

The 'as of' date changing is actually pretty common. It usually means the IRS computer system is reviewing your return. Sometimes it indicates upcoming changes or updates to your account, but not always. The cycling between dates doesn't necessarily mean anything significant for your refund timeline.

Hey, I was in the same boat last month. I started using taxr.ai to analyze my transcript and it actually explained exactly why this was happening and when I could expect movement. It's only $1 and way better than trying to decode these cryptic updates ourselves. https://taxr.ai

Super accurate! It predicted my DDD within 2 days and explained all the weird date changes. The AI breaks everything down in normal language 💯

Don't stress too much about the as of date. Focus on the cycle code and whether you have any codes like 570/971. Those tell you more about your actual status.

The IRS systems update transcripts every week, usually between Thursday and Friday. The as of date changes are just part of their processing system doing its thing. Best advice is to check once a week instead of daily - trust me your sanity will thank you lol
