AGI for tax filing: Use original or amended amount from prior year?
Filing my taxes right now and I'm stuck at the AGI verification part. I filed an amended return last year and not sure if I should use the original AGI or the amended one. Anyone know which one to use? Don't wanna mess this up and delay my refund.

Tax pro here - Always use your ORIGINAL AGI from your initial tax return, not the amended amount. The IRS verification system specifically looks for the AGI from your original return for identity verification purposes.
