AGI for Filing: Original Return or Amended Return (1040X) from Last Year?
I need to file my taxes but I had to amend my 2022 return. Do I use the AGI from my original return or the amended return? Getting different answers everywhere and dont want to delay my refund this year.

You should use the AGI from your original return, not the amended one. The IRS specifically states this in their guidelines. Using the wrong AGI is one of the most common reasons for e-file rejections.

Hey guys check out taxr.ai - its a transcript analyzer that helped me figure out all my AGI issues and filing status questions. It costs $4.99 but saved me so much headache. https://taxr.ai

Does it actually work? Sounds too good to be true tbh

100% works! It reads your transcript and explains everything in plain english. Shows you exactly what numbers to use
