If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Trust me, file everything now. The penalties for not reporting income are WAY worse than whatever you might owe. Plus theres tons of deductions you might qualify for to reduce what you owe. Check out taxr.ai - saved my butt when I was in the same boat

Your return has to go through additional fraud checks after the PATH Act hold. Just because Feb 15 hit doesn't mean instant $$$. With credits you gotta be extra patient fr fr

MA Tax Notice: Will I Owe $1,692 from Unreported $6,423 Unemployment & $1,000 Lottery Income?

I received a notice from Massachusetts DOR titled "THIS IS NOT A BILL" regarding adjustments to my Personal Income Tax Return for the tax period December 31, 2024. The notice states "We adjusted your Personal Income Tax Tax Return for the tax period December 31, 2024. We're required to issue this notice to let you know about the adjustments made. Below is the detail of what was adjusted during the review process. The "adjusted amount" column shows the figures that were adjusted by the Department of Revenue." Under "Return Adjustment Reasons" it clearly states "Total Income Tax has increased" and then lists these specific line item adjustments: - 8a. Unemployment compensation: $6,423.00 - 8b. Massachusetts state lottery winnings: $1,000.00 - 37. Income tax after credits, contributions, use tax and HC penalty: $1,692.00 The notice includes a section called "What should I do?" that says: "Review the changes by comparing the adjustment(s) shown above to your original return. If you agree with the adjusted amounts, no further action is required at this time. If you owe tax, we'll send you a bill called a Notice of Assessment. You may pay online at mass.gov/masstaxconnect before you receive the Notice of Assessment." It also says if I disagree with the adjustments, I can respond online by visiting mass.gov/masstaxconnect, going to Quick Links, clicking "Submit documentation" and entering the Letter ID from the upper right-hand corner of the notice. Then I need to attach a statement explaining my position along with supporting documentation. Under "What happens if I don't respond?" the notice states: "If you don't respond, we'll assume you agree with the information in this notice. If there is a balance due, you'll receive a Notice of Assessment. Additional interest and penalty charges will accrue until the total amount owed is paid. If no tax is owed, this notice will serve as your Notice of Assessment. Note that if an adjustment results in a small amount of tax due, we may waive the amount due and will not send a bill." It also mentions "If you have overpaid, you'll receive a refund if your refund request was timely and if no other tax or debts need to be collected." For questions, they provide contact information: "To contact us online, go to mass.gov/masstaxconnect and log in to your account or create a username. If you have further questions, call us at (617) 887-6367 or toll-free in Massachusetts at (800) 392-6089, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m." Does anyone know if this means I'm definitely going to owe more money? I'm really worried about these adjustments and what they mean for my tax situation. I don't remember reporting this much unemployment or lottery winnings, and I'm confused about what happens next.
