When does IRS Account Transcript update? Only after refund approval?
I keep checking my account transcript everyday but nothing is showing up yet. Does anyone know if the transcript only gets posted after the IRS approves your refund? Or should I be able to see something even if they havent processed it yet?

Your account transcript updates throughout the processing of your return. You should be able to see the return received date and any subsequent actions taken on your account. If you're not seeing anything at all, it might mean your return hasn't been received or entered into the system yet. Make sure you're looking at the correct tax year transcript.

Protip: check early morning around 3-4am EST. thats when the system usually updates
