Filed 2/1, accepted 2/4 - Transcript still showing no update. What does this mean?
Filed my taxes on Feb 1st and they got accepted on Feb 4th. Been checking my transcripts daily but nothing is showing up yet. First time checking transcripts so im completely lost. Anyone know whats normal and what I should be looking for?

Its totally normal for transcripts to not update right away. The IRS typically takes about 2-3 weeks to process returns during filing season. Your return was just accepted a week ago, so you'll probably see movement around Feb 18-25. The acceptance just means they received your return, not that processing has started.

Pro tip: dont check everyday youll drive yourself crazy lol. Check once a week on friday mornings thats when they usually update transcripts

When your transcript does update look for cycle code ending in 05 - means weekly updates. If its 01-04 you get daily updates
