Urgent: Direct Deposit bank closed - How to update bank info to avoid paper check?
Filed my taxes and just found out my Serve card account got closed. The refund is supposed to go there but now I'm freaking out because I dont want to wait forever for a paper check. Is there anyway to change my direct deposit info now or am I just stuck waiting?

Tax Refund SUCCESS: Transcript showed DD 2-18, Money hit account same day!
Just wanted to share some good news - my transcript updated this morning showing a direct deposit date of 2-18 and the money actually hit my account about 2 hours later! After months of waiting this feels unreal. There is hope yall!

Can I verify ID at IRS office without waiting for verification letter?
I need to verify my identity with the IRS. Has anyone tried going to a local IRS office to verify before receiving the ID verification letter in the mail? I don't want to wait weeks for a letter when there's an office 20 minutes from my house.

PSA: If anyone else is stuck in verification limbo, check ur transcripts regularly. Sometimes they update the status there b4 sending letters
