What time does cycle code 04 update on WMR and transcripts?
Can someone tell me when cycle code 04 updates? I just want to know if I should check WMR tonight at midnight or wait until morning. Tired of checking constantly and getting disappointed.

WMR changed to 'still processing' - Need ID verify number before letter arrives?
My Where's My Refund status just changed to still being processed today. I can't access my transcripts online and I'm worried this means I need to verify my identity. Does anyone know if theres a way to start the verification process before getting the official letter? Just trying to stay ahead of this.

My WMR changed to that status and I never needed to verify. Sometimes its just delayed processing tbh

IRS Payment Plan Question: Will IRS still deduct $2k from 2021 even with existing payment plan?
I set up a payment plan with the IRS before filing my 2021 taxes. Now I got a letter saying I owe 2k for 2021. Anyone know if theyre still gonna take the money even tho I already have a payment plan setup?

2023 Refund Success Story: Filed 2/4, Code 152, No Verification Needed, Got DDD 3/22
Filed beginning of February and WMR showed code 152. Didnt call IRS or do anything special. No verification needed. Transcripts were blank until yesterday when they updated with DDD. Money hit my account this morning! Sometimes the IRS is just slow and theres nothing wrong with your return.

Finally got DDD after 1 month - No ID verify needed! Stop spreading misinfo about verification requirements
Finally got my deposit date after waiting a month! Just wanted to share that I didnt have to verify my identity or anything. Seeing alot of people saying everyone needs to verify this year but thats not true. The IRS is just taking longer than usual to process returns. Every situation is different - some people will need to verify and others wont. Just be patient.

the IRS systems are so outdated its actually embarassing. why cant they just give us a proper tracking system like literally every other company has???

PSA: If your trying to check transcripts, the website is usually down for maintenance between 12am-3am EST so dont waste ur time during those hours
