If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I had almost the same situation as you last month - expected $4,200 but got $3,000. It's like the IRS was playing the same trick! Called the Treasury Offset Program, discovered an old state tax debt from when I lived in Colorado. Received the explanation letter exactly 12 days after the deposit. Once I knew what happened, I was able to set up a payment plan for the remaining balance.

Be careful with this! Last year I had $2,000 missing and ignored it thinking it was just an IRS error. Turns out it was for unpaid child support I didn't even know about (case of identity theft). By the time I figured it out, it had affected my credit score and caused all kinds of problems. Always follow up immediately on missing refund amounts - I learned this lesson the hard way.

Try calling the dedicated Examination department instead of waiting. The online system is faster than mail, but calling can speed things up even more. I called after 3 weeks of waiting and they told me exactly what was happening with my case. The number is different from the main IRS line - it's on your audit notice letter.

Be careful with the online upload system! Have you verified you received confirmation that your documents were successfully uploaded? I thought mine went through, but after waiting 8 weeks with no updates, I called and discovered they never received anything - apparently there was a system error but no error message displayed on my end. Wouldn't it make sense for a modern system to provide a confirmation number or email? Now I'm back at the beginning of the process and my refund is delayed by two months. Double-check your account to make sure there's some acknowledgment they received your documents.

Did you happen to get any kind of error message or was it just silent failure? I want to make sure I don't run into the same issue.

Try the Taxpayer Advocate Service. It's free. Call 877-777-4778. They can help with delays. Sometimes they can expedite. Worth a shot. Better than waiting indefinitely. They helped me last year. Got my refund unstuck in two weeks.

I waited exactly 52 days this tax season with the EXACT same situation - created an IP PIN 3 days after filing. My transcript was unavailable for 47 of those days, then suddenly appeared with a 570 hold code dated March 11th, followed by a 571 release code dated March 18th. The most frustrating part was calling the IRS 9 times and getting 9 different answers about the delay. One agent said it was the IP PIN, another said it was my investment income requiring verification, and a third said there was no issue at all - just normal processing times. My refund of $3,842 finally arrived on day 54, with no explanation for the delay.

Be careful with SBTPG - they're like a middleman that takes a bite of your sandwich before handing it to you. I've seen cases where they held refunds for up to 5 business days, not just 1-3. Their terms actually allow them to hold funds for "processing" with no specific timeline guarantee. Think of it like shipping - they promise delivery but not exactly when. In 2023, many people reported longer holds during February and March when volume was highest. If you need your money by a specific date, never count on the DDD as the actual deposit date.

According to IRS Publication 1345 (Rev. 2-2023), doesn't a tax preparer need explicit consent to use a Refund Transfer product? Did anyone actually read the fine print when filing? I'm wondering if there's a way to opt out of SBTPG processing for future filings while still using the same tax software.

Omg YES! 😫 I went through this EXACT same thing! My state refund was held by SBTPG for 4 days and then my federal was held for 3 days! I was literally checking my bank account every hour because I needed that money for my mortgage payment. It's so stressful when you're counting on that money and then it's just... sitting there with some company you never directly chose to work with!

I had this same issue last month. According to the SBTPG website (https://taxpayer.sbtpg.com/), they typically process refunds within 1-2 business days after receiving them from the IRS. I tracked my federal refund carefully - the IRS issued it on February 21st, SBTPG received it the same day, and I got my deposit on February 23rd. So exactly 2 business days. I recommend creating an account on their website to track your refund's progress. You'll need your SSN, filing status, and refund amount to register.

I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago! Here's what happened for me step by step: 1. First, I checked my transcript and saw my DDD (2/3 in my case) 2. I called TurboTax customer service (866-888-9107) to ask about the timeline 3. They confirmed that they typically receive the funds from IRS on the DDD 4. Then they process the fees and forward the remaining amount within 24-48 hours 5. Finally, Credit Karma usually makes funds available same-day once they receive them In my experience, I got my refund exactly 2 days after my DDD. The TurboTax rep told me this is pretty standard for their refund transfers with Credit Karma specifically. Hope this helps with your medical appointment planning!

Think of your tax refund like a package going through multiple shipping facilities before reaching your doorstep. The DDD is when it leaves the IRS warehouse, but it still needs to go through TurboTax's processing center (where they take their cut) before final delivery to your Credit Karma card. The technical term for this is a "Refund Transfer" (RT) or "Refund Processing Service" (RPS) which utilizes a temporary bank account established by TurboTax's financial partner. According to internal IRS document 7130.A, these transfers typically complete within 1-3 business days post-DDD, though peak season (which we're in) can extend this timeline.

• This matches my experience exactly • Had DDD of 2/15 • TurboTax took fees on 2/16 • Money appeared on my Credit Karma card 2/17 • Was surprised how smooth it went! • The tracking on the TT website wasn't very helpful though

Last year I had my refund sent to my regular bank instead of Credit Karma and it took 5 days after DDD to show up. This year I switched to Credit Karma and it was only 2 days after DDD. Credit Karma seems to process these faster for some reason.
