846 Code for 02/26/2025 but Processing Date 03/10/2025 - Will Credit Karma Deposit Early?

Got my transcript today. Shows 846 02/26/2025. Also has processing date 03/10/2025. Will money hit Wednesday? Credit Karma usually deposits early. Anyone know their schedule? Need to make some investments soon.

Based on your transcript details, your refund is scheduled for direct deposit on February 26th, 2025. The 846 code with that date is your actual refund issue date. The March 10th, 2025 processing date is just an internal IRS marker and doesn't affect your deposit timing. You should expect to see funds by February 26th, possibly earlier if Credit Karma offers early direct deposit.

Could you explain a bit more about how these dates interact? I've always wondered about the relationship between the 846 date and the processing date. Does the processing date ever impact when funds are actually released?

Let me clarify the transcript dates: • 846 date (2/26) = The exact date IRS releases your refund • Processing date (3/10) = Administrative date for IRS internal purposes • Bank receipt = Typically same day as 846 date for most major banks • Credit unions/online banks = Often 1-2 days earlier than traditional banks

Did you check if there are any other codes on your transcript? Sometimes there might be a freeze code that could potentially delay things, even with an 846 date. It's usually fine, but worth double-checking if you have any 570 or 971 codes lingering around.

I had the same situation last month - thought my money was coming because of the 846 code, but had a lingering 570 that nobody told me about. It's like thinking you've paid your entire restaurant bill but forgetting about the drink you ordered separately. The system held my refund for an extra week while they cleared that up.

Have you tried calling the IRS to confirm these dates? Sometimes their systems show different information than what appears on transcripts, don't they? And what if there's an issue with Credit Karma's processing? I used Claimyr (https://youtu.be/_kiP6q8DX5c) last month when I had conflicting dates and got through to an IRS agent in about 15 minutes instead of waiting on hold for hours. They confirmed my exact deposit date and explained why my processing date was different.

Call them now! Don't wait until Wednesday when the money doesn't show up. IRS phone lines get jammed as deposit dates approach. Get confirmation today while you still have time to make alternate plans for your investments if there's any issue.

Did Claimyr actually connect you directly to an IRS representative? How does the service work exactly? Did you need to provide any personal information to them, or do they just handle the waiting part of the call?

OMG I just went through this exact situation last week! Had the 846 for 2/19 but processing date of 3/5 and was FREAKING OUT! But my money hit Credit Karma exactly on 2/19 at 9:30am! They don't actually deposit early like some banks do - they just make it available the moment it arrives! 😊 So happy I didn't have to stress about it!

Do u know if CK shows pending deposits? My old bank used to show pending DD a day b4 it posted. Not sure if CK does the same?

Checked with 3 different Credit Karma users. Most got deposits exactly on 846 date. One received it 1 day early. None received it 2+ days early. Processing date is irrelevant for deposit timing. 846 date is what matters. Plan your investments accordingly.

Will Credit Karma notify you? I'm waiting too. Got same codes. Need to know when to check.

The TC 846 (Refund Issued) with date 02/26/2025 is your official refund release date. The TC 150 processing date of 03/10/2025 is merely administrative and doesn't affect your direct deposit timing. Credit Karma specifically doesn't offer true "early deposit" like some neobanks - they simply make funds available immediately upon receipt from the Treasury. Your deposit should post on 2/26 or possibly on 2/25 depending on when the Federal Reserve processes the ACH batch.
