4883C Letter Verification Timeline - WMR Updates and Code 846 DDD Experience?
Finally verified my identity after getting the 4883C letter. My WMR still shows 'still being processed' message. Anyone know how long it usually takes to change to 'being processed' with tax topic 152? Also wondering when transcripts typically show the 846 code after verification?

The timeline varies but typically after ID verification, you should see WMR update within 2-3 weeks. The 846 code usually appears 1-2 weeks after that. Keep in mind these are just typical timeframes - the IRS is still dealing with backlogs so it could take longer.

Mine took exactly 9 days to update to processing w/ TT152, then another 12 days for the 846 code to show up. Got my $ 5 days after that.
