The negative sign next to the refund amount in your Record of Account transcript is actually a good sign! It indicates the amount the IRS owes you. Your regular transcript should update within the next few days. Once you see the 846 code with a date, that'll be your direct deposit date.

did you file with earned income credit or child tax credit? those usually take longer to process
