Is it really taking 4 to 6 weeks to get a phone interview?  I called EDD yesterday and a tier 2 agent said it takes that long for them to schedule a phone interview and that my payments will be on hold until then.

Sometimes Edd cancels a phone interview if they believe you don’t require so … I don’t see many have an interview.. I would keep calling to see any changes in a week. Elizabeth yes they said it was because I had to reopen my claim to see if I was eligible due to some information not matching up.

Hey Guillermo If you still have your call back, I would recommend you give them a call and see if you can answer those questions with the tier 2 representative Sometimes the "misinformation" they have could be an out-of-state address or wages, and if that's not true you can communicate that you would like to clear that up with them. Also I heard that with PUA claims they are not supposed to do phone interviews, if that's your case

Hey Kevin, According to Brandon yesterday he shared that no they are not supposed to be doing phone interviews for PUA claims. One approach to this is tell them you have a phone interview that supposed to be scheduled and you want to know why. Chances are if they don't know, they will lift it.
