I got somebody on the phone and she was rude she said she’s going to schedule me for a phone interview so what does this mean? Do they call the number back that’s on file
So should I call again or should I just leave it like that because I bet she already put the interview part in and she denied my backpay request because it didn’t match the day that I last work
Honestly I’d try again yesterday she tried correcting me and I even have proof of my claim date 2019!!! She got upset and told me she was the specialist and knew what she was talking about and clicked on me. Try again til you get someone understanding
Maybe, but that shouldn't matter. I've have reps yell at me for speaking for my husband and hanging up. And other reps telling me they couldn't backdate because the "benefit year was over". Finally by Monday we got through and reached a Tier 2 rep that put the request in. Don't give up! So whatever notes they put in , someone else was willing to listen and help.
I put in a backdate request through a tier 2 three days ago. That guy told me I would have to interview. Two days ago, another tier 2 told me they aren’t supposed to schedule phone interviews for PUA claims and took the flag off my account. I would recommend you keep calling.
Maybe ya. Or ask when the call is scheduled for so you get a better explanation. It seems like they’re doing that to everyone so might just have to be a patient process
My spouse was calling anyway to solve her backdate, so I didn’t have to get through a tier 1. What I told the tier 2, though, was that I was wondering about the phone interview considering I’ve heard of 10+ week waits for a scheduling notice, and there’s the Oct. 6th deadline on applying for new PUA claims. She told me to wait, and when she came back she said they aren’t actually supposed to interview people for PUA.
Technically not after the 4th BUT if someone had called you before instead of making you wait then you would have got your back pay. What was your response to her?
She just put in my backdate request, yesterday I certified for all my weeks, and today I got paid. We’re still eligible. You can go back to 12/06/2020.

For the phone interview, they'll typically call you at the number on file during the scheduled time. Make sure to keep that number updated and available. From what I've seen in this community, some reps are scheduling interviews unnecessarily for PUA claims - you might want to call back and ask to speak with a Tier 2 specialist who can clarify if an interview is actually required for your situation. Don't let one rude rep discourage you from getting the help you deserve!
