Get the name and ID of the person you speak with. 5. Ask for a callback number or extension if possible. 6. If they can't help, ask to speak with a supervisor. 7. After the call, send a follow-up email summarizing what was discussed. Stay persistent! It's a pain, but you'll get through eventually. Good luck!

Have you tried reaching out to your local assembly member's office? They can sometimes help speed things up with EDD.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update info there before sending anything out.

Pro tip: call right when they open. You might have to try a few days in a row, but it's way easier to get through.
