Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my SDI payment. I filed my claim a while back but still haven't received anything. Has anyone else experienced delays with their disability payments? Any advice on how to get in touch with someone who can help?
Hey everyone, I filed a claim for paternity leave back in December and I'm still waiting to hear back. Has anyone else experienced long wait times for their claims? Any tips on how to get an update or speed up the process?
have you tried faxing your documents? sometimes that gets faster results than mailing or uploading online. old school but it works lol
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my State Disability payments. It's been over 2 weeks since I last got paid and I can't seem to reach anyone on the phone. I tried calling the main number and got transferred to a different line (800-480-3287) but still no luck getting through to an agent. Anyone else dealing with this or have any advice on how to actually talk to someone?
have u checked ur claim status online? sometimes there holding payments cuz they need more info but dont bother telling u π
Has anyone else been waiting forever for their state disability check? It's been over 2 weeks since I was supposed to get paid and still nothing. This is getting ridiculous. I've got bills to pay and can't afford to wait much longer. Anyone know what's going on or how to speed things up?
LPT: If you're having trouble getting your disability payments, try contacting your state senator or assembly member's office. They often have staff dedicated to helping constituents with state agency issues. It's literally their job to help you!
Hey everyone, I need to reopen my unemployment claim but I'm not sure how to go about it. I got a letter from EDD saying I need to reopen it, but I'm confused about the process. Has anyone gone through this before? What should I expect when I call them? Any tips would be really appreciated!
Just a heads up, I heard they changed some of the eligibility requirements recently. Make sure you double-check that you still qualify before you go through the whole process!

This whole situation is so messed up. We're already dealing with health issues, and now we gotta fight just to get the benefits we're entitled to? The system is broken, man. π€

Here's what I've learned from my experience with SDI: 1. Be persistent. Call every day if you have to. 2. Keep a log of all your calls and who you spoke to. 3. Make sure all your medical documentation is up to date and submitted. 4. Check your online account regularly for updates. 5. If you're really stuck, consider reaching out to your state representative or even local media. 6. Join Facebook groups or forums dedicated to SDI issues. Sometimes you can get insider tips. 7. If you can afford it, that Claimyr service others mentioned might be worth a shot. Remember, you're entitled to these benefits. Don't give up! It's a frustrating process, but stay strong. πͺ
