Claim stuck in processing limbo for over a month - any way to speed it up?

Has anyone else been waiting forever for their claim to be processed? I submitted mine over a month ago and still nothing. This is getting ridiculous. Any advice on how to speed things up or at least find out what's going on?

I found a way to solve long unemployment claim processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnhWlxqA2as

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been waiting for 6 weeks now. It's like they're purposely trying to make us suffer. Have you tried calling them? That's what I'm gonna do next, even though I've heard it's a nightmare to get through.

Good luck with that. I spent 3 days trying to get through on the phone. It's a complete joke 🤡

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? That's highway robbery!

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imho.

How long did you have to wait before they connected you?

It took about an hour and a half, but I didn't have to do anything. Just got a call when an agent was ready.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there's info there about missing documents or identity verification issues. That's what held mine up for weeks.

This is why we need to overhaul the entire system. It's not equipped to handle the volume of claims, especially during economic downturns. We should be writing to our representatives about this!

I actually wrote to my rep last month. Got a generic response saying they're "working on it". Whatever that means 🙄

Here's what worked for me: 1. Double-check all your documents are uploaded correctly 2. Call first thing in the morning (like 7:59 AM) 3. If you can't get through, keep trying every day 4. Be super nice to the agent when you finally reach someone 5. Ask if there's anything else you can do to speed up the process It took me about 2 weeks of trying, but I finally got my claim processed. Don't give up!

Thanks for the detailed advice! I'll definitely give this a try. Did you have to provide any additional info when you finally got through?

In my case, they needed an additional pay stub. But it varies for everyone. The key is to ask if there's anything missing or if they need any more info from you.

Has anyone tried going to the office in person? I'm thinking about doing that as a last resort.

I tried that last week. Waited in line for 3 hours only to be told they can't help with claims in person anymore. Total waste of time.
