SDI claim status MIA - How to get payment info when no one answers?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to get some info about my SDI claim. I've been waiting for ages to hear back about my payment status and claim progress. Anyone else in the same boat or have any tips on how to get through to someone? This waiting game is driving me crazy!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ
