Need help correcting small error on SDI application - best way to contact someone?

Hey everyone, I need to correct a small error on my SDI application. Has anyone gone through this process before? I'm trying to figure out the best way to get in touch with someone at the office to make this change. Any advice would be really appreciated!

I found a way to solve SDI application error correction, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZ_MlEhPSpU

Ugh, good luck with that. I've been trying to get through to them for weeks. It's like they don't want us to fix our mistakes 🙄

Same here! I've called like 50 times and always get the busy signal. This system is so broken 😤

Have you tried calling right when they open? I heard that's the best time to get through.

Tried that too. No luck. It's like playing the lottery at this point 🎰

I actually found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Wow, that sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? How long did you have to wait?

I get the skepticism, but it honestly worked for me. Waited about 2 hours, but didn't have to sit by the phone. Worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

Have you tried faxing your correction? Sometimes old school methods work better with these government agencies lol

Ok, here's what you need to do to correct an error on your SDI application: 1. Document the error: Write down exactly what needs to be corrected. 2. Gather supporting documents: If you have any proof or documentation related to the correction, have it ready. 3. Contact SDI: Call their main line at 1-800-480-3287. Be prepared for a long wait. 4. Request a 'Request for Change' form: Ask the representative for this specific form. 5. Fill out the form: Clearly explain the error and the correct information. 6. Submit the form: You can mail it or fax it. Faxing is usually faster. 7. Follow up: Call again after a week to ensure they received your form and are processing the change. Remember, patience is key. The system can be slow, but persistence usually pays off. Good luck!

This is great advice. I'd add that keeping a record of all your communications (dates, times, who you spoke to) can be really helpful if there are any issues down the line.

Preach! 🙌 The whole thing is a dinosaur. We need a modern, user-friendly system ASAP.

For real. My grandma could design a better system, and she still uses a flip phone 😂

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the phone, try reaching out on social media. Sometimes their Twitter team is more responsive than the phone lines.
