Money Network app issues - How to switch to paper checks?
Hey everyone, I'm having some serious issues with the Money Network app. It's making it really difficult for me to access my funds. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking about switching to paper checks instead. Any advice on how to go about making this change?

Ugh, I feel your pain! The Money Network app is a total nightmare. I switched to paper checks a few months ago and it's been so much better. Just call them up and ask to change your payment method. Be prepared for a long wait time tho 🙄

•How long did it take for you to get your first paper check after switching?

•It took about 2 weeks for me. Not too bad considering how slow everything else is with them lol

I found a way to get someone on the phone quickly. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks? Thats a rip off. I'd rather wait on hold for free.

•I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Here's what you need to do when you get someone on the phone: 1. Explain that you're having issues accessing your funds through the Money Network app 2. Request to switch your payment method to paper checks 3. Ask about the timeline for the change to take effect 4. Inquire if there are any forms you need to fill out 5. Get a confirmation number or email for your records Stay calm and polite, but be persistent if they try to brush you off. Good luck!

•Great advice! I'd add: make sure to write down the name of the person you talk to, just in case you need to follow up later.

This whole system is a joke. They need to get their act together and make it easier for people to access their own money. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to get paid! 😡

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Sometimes that fixes weird glitches.

word of advice: dont bother with the online chat support. I wasted 2 hours yesterday and got nowhere. Calling is your best bet

I had the exact same problem with the Money Network app last month! The app kept crashing every time I tried to check my balance or transfer money. I called the EDD customer service line and asked to switch to paper checks - it was honestly one of the best decisions I made. The representative was actually pretty helpful once I got through. Just make sure you have your account info ready when you call, and like others mentioned, be prepared for a long wait time. The switch took about 10 business days for me, and now I don't have to deal with that buggy app anymore. Hope this helps!

•Thanks for sharing your experience! 10 business days sounds reasonable. Did you have to provide any specific documentation when you called, or was it pretty straightforward to make the switch? I'm planning to call tomorrow and want to be prepared.
