How to check if EDD received my paperwork?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows how to check if my paperwork was received? I submitted it a while ago but haven't heard anything back. Getting kinda worried here.

I found a way to solve paperwork status check delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6GE2nSjn5s

Ugh, I feel ya. I've been in the same boat. Have you tried calling them? It's a pain, but sometimes that's the only way to get a straight answer.

I tried calling but kept getting stuck on hold forever. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. You might have better luck getting through.

Or try calling at like 4:55 PM. Sometimes they pick up fast to clear the queue before closing.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of hold time.

$20 tho? That's kinda steep just to make a phone call...

I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting whole days on hold before.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before sending any notifications.

I swear, dealing with bureaucracy is like playing whack-a-mole with paperwork. 🤡 Good luck, OP!

Here's what I've learned from my experience: 1. Always keep copies of EVERYTHING you submit. 2. Send important documents via certified mail so you have proof of delivery. 3. Follow up regularly - don't assume no news is good news. 4. Use their online portal if available, it's often faster than mail. 5. If you call, take notes including the name of who you spoke to and when. 6. Be persistent but polite. The person on the other end is probably overworked and underpaid. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP.

I'm telling you, it's all a conspiracy to make us give up and go away. Stay strong, comrade! ✊

Calm down, Alex Jones. It's not a conspiracy, just good old-fashioned incompetence. 🙄
