Class M application status unknown - how to check if it went through?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my class M application. I submitted it a while ago but I'm not sure if it went through. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm getting worried because I haven't heard anything back yet. Any advice on how to check the status or what to do next would be really appreciated!

Ugh, I feel your pain! The whole system is such a mess. I had the same problem with my class M app last month. Have you tried calling the office? It's a total nightmare getting through, but it's probably your best bet to get a straight answer.

Calling is useless, I've been trying for weeks and can never get through. It's like they don't want us to actually talk to anyone 🙄

I actually found a way to get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Wait, seriously? $20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous, we shouldn't have to pay for basic customer service!

I know it sounds crazy, but after spending hours trying to get through, it was worth it for me. Saved me so much time and frustration.

It's legit, I promise. They even have a money-back guarantee if you don't get through. Honestly, it's been a game-changer for me.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before sending any notifications. It's worth a shot!

I'm in the same boat, buddy. Submitted my class M three weeks ago and still crickets. This whole process is so frustrating. Hang in there!

Thanks for the support! It's good to know I'm not alone in this. How long do you think we should wait before trying to contact them?

I've heard it can take up to 6 weeks, but with all the delays lately, who knows? 🤷‍♂️ Maybe we should start a support group lol

Here's what I've learned about checking the status of a class M application: 1. Log into your online account and check the 'Application Status' section. Sometimes it's updated there first. 2. If you provided an email address, check your spam folder. Important notifications sometimes end up there. 3. Try calling the office early in the morning, right when they open. You're more likely to get through. 4. If it's been more than 4 weeks, you can try sending a follow-up email to the department. Be sure to include your application number and any relevant details. 5. Some people have had luck reaching out via social media, but your mileage may vary. 6. As a last resort, you can try contacting your local representative's office. They sometimes can help push things along. Remember, patience is key. The system is overwhelmed right now, so delays are unfortunately common. Good luck!

This should be pinned at the top of the subreddit. So many people asking the same questions over and over.

Great advice! I'd add that keeping copies of all your submitted documents is crucial. You never know when they might 'lose' something 🙄

Preach! 🙌 It's like they're trying to make it as difficult as possible.

Totally agree. We need to start demanding better service. This is our tax dollars at work (or not working, in this case).

Pro tip: document EVERYTHING. Every call, email, letter. Trust me, it'll save you headaches down the road if there are any issues with your application.

Have you tried checking the status online? Sometimes they update it there before sending any notifications. Also, make sure to check your spam folder!

Thanks for the suggestion! I've been checking online daily, but no updates yet. Good call on the spam folder though, I'll double-check that.

Ugh, I remember going through this last year. It's so stressful! Sending you good vibes, OP. Hope you get some answers soon!

Not to be that guy, but did you double-check that you submitted all the required documents? I thought my app was in limbo, turns out I forgot to attach one form 🤦‍♂️

Oh man, I hope that's not the case for me! But it's a good point, I'll go back and review everything. Thanks for the heads up!
