guys, i think we're all missing the bigger picture here. the system is BROKEN. we shouldn't have to jump through all these hoops just to get a response. its time we demand better from our government!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

I heard they're super backlogged because of budget cuts. Doesn't excuse the lack of communication tho. Hang in there, OP!

Pro tip: If you can, go to their office in person. I know it's a pain, but I got my issue resolved in one day after months of no response. Just be prepared to wait all day.
