FAFSA application submitted multiple times but no response - need help in Spanish

I understand your frustration! The issue might be that you're submitting multiple applications which could be causing them to get flagged in the system. Each student should only have one active FAFSA application per academic year. Have you checked the status on studentaid.gov? Sometimes the confirmation doesn't come immediately, but you can log in to see if any of your submissions were processed.

Solo dice "no applications found" aunque ya he enviado como 4 veces. No entiendo que estoy haciendo mal.

This happened to me too! Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then use a different browser (like Firefox if you normally use Chrome). Sometimes the FAFSA site has weird technical issues. Also, make sure you're completing the 2025-2026 FAFSA and not accidentally filling out an old year's form.

When I had trouble with my FAFSA application not being processed, I was stuck on hold for HOURS trying to reach someone at Federal Student Aid. I finally found Claimyr.com which got me connected to an actual FAFSA agent in about 10 minutes! They have a demo video (https://youtu.be/TbC8dZQWYNQ) that shows how it works. The agent I spoke with was able to see all my submission attempts and fix whatever was blocking them from processing. Definitely worth trying when nothing else works!

The ENTIRE FAFSA system is BROKEN this year!!! I've been trying for WEEKS to get my daughter's application processed and keep getting stonewalled. They completely botched the new system rollout and nobody at FSA cares!!! They just keep saying "please be patient" while scholarship deadlines pass us by. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!

•I feel your pain! The new FAFSA system has been having so many issues. My son's application took 6 weeks to process when it used to take days in previous years. So frustrating when college decisions depend on this information.

Have you checked if your FSA ID is properly verified? If there's an issue with your FSA ID verification, your applications might not process correctly. Another possibility is that there could be a mismatch between the information you're entering and what's in government records. Small discrepancies in name spelling, SSN, or date of birth can cause applications to get stuck in limbo without generating an error message.

my cousin had this exact problem turns out he was using his mom's email on the application but his own phone number so the verification codes were going to different places and nothing ever got confirmed properly. check ALL your contact info

•That's a great point! Verification code mismatches are a common problem with FAFSA submissions. Make sure all contact information is consistent and that you have access to both the email and phone number listed on your application.

I work at a college financial aid office, and we've been seeing lots of students with similar issues this year. One thing that might help - check if your browser is automatically translating the FAFSA website. Sometimes this can cause submission errors because the translated form fields don't match what the system expects. Try setting the site language to English for the submission process, even if you complete the form in Spanish.

Just a follow-up suggestion - if you do use Claimyr to reach someone, ask specifically for a Spanish-speaking agent when you get connected. They do have bilingual staff available, and explaining your situation will be much easier in your preferred language. Make sure to have your FSA ID, Social Security number, and full legal name ready when you call.

•Perfecto! No sabía que tenían agentes que hablan español. Definitivamente voy a pedir eso cuando llame. Ya tengo todos mis documentos listos. Gracias por la información adicional!
