I'm really confused about the different types of unemployment and which ones qualify for benefits through Washington ESD. My friend mentioned something about voluntary vs involuntary unemployment but I'm not sure what that means for my claim. I left my job because my boss was creating a hostile work environment, but I technically quit rather than being fired. Does that count as voluntary unemployment? Will Washington ESD deny my claim because I quit instead of waiting to be terminated? I'm worried I messed up by not sticking it out longer.
