What does pay type progress mean for unemployment on Washington ESD account?

Pay type progress usually means they're processing your payment method or verifying your eligibility for that particular week. It's one of the status indicators they use while your claim is being reviewed.

I've seen this before when I had partial earnings to report. Washington ESD has to calculate your partial benefit amount, which can take a day or two extra processing time.

Check if your direct deposit info is still correct in your account. Sometimes pay type progress shows when there's an issue with payment processing.

Maybe try logging out and back in? Sometimes their system glitches and shows weird statuses.
