They needed me to verify my identity even though I'd already done that when I first applied. The automated system kept hanging up on me after 45 minutes on hold. If you were laid off permanently then yes, you're on regular UI. Standby is for temporary layoffs where you expect to be called back to the same employer.

It basically is impossible with normal calling. Someone mentioned Claimyr earlier - I tried it after my second payment got stuck and it actually worked. They somehow get you through to a real person without the usual runaround.

yeah my credit union usually has it by tuesday night but my friend with bank of america doesnt see it until wednesday afternoon

Had to call them multiple times. Finally got through using one of those callback services someone mentioned earlier. Took 3 weeks total but they backdated my payments.
