Washington ESD unemployment eligibility after resignation - am I eligible for unemployment if I resign?
I've been dealing with a really toxic work environment at my current job and I'm considering resigning. My manager has been making my life miserable with unrealistic deadlines and constantly changing expectations. I've documented everything but I'm worried about my mental health if I stay much longer. Does anyone know if Washington ESD will approve unemployment benefits if I quit my job? I know they usually deny claims for voluntary quit but I'm wondering if there are exceptions for hostile work environments. I really need to know before I make this decision because I can't afford to be without income for months.
