Lost ESD adjudicator message after 7 weeks - where to find read alerts?
Finally got an adjudicator to contact me after 7 WEEKS of waiting - only happened because I called the governor's office last Friday (was desperate). They sent me an Alert in eServices requesting additional information about my claim, but after I clicked and read it, I can't find it anywhere! The message had specific questions they needed answered by tomorrow, and now I'm panicking because I can't remember all the details they asked for. Once you read an Alert in eServices, where can you find it again? Is it stored somewhere in the portal? Does anyone know how to retrieve already-read messages? My benefit year is about to expire and I'm worried they'll deny my claim if I don't respond to their questions correctly.

Go to your eServices account and look for 'Messages' or 'Correspondence' in the left menu. All communications should be saved there, even after you've read them. The alerts just notify you that there's a new message, but the actual content is stored permanently in your account. Don't worry, it's not deleted after viewing.

•Thank you! I looked under 'Messages' but didn't see anything from the adjudicator there. Is there another section specifically for correspondence with adjudicators?

•I'll check again and look for different tabs. The ESD website is so confusing sometimes!

Look under the 'Letters and Documents' section. That's separate from regular messages. If you can't find it there, sometimes adjudicator questions come through as an 'Action Item' that might be in a different section of your dashboard. Also check if you received an email notification that might have more details about what they asked. If you absolutely can't find it, I recommend using Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get connected with an ESD agent quickly. I was in a similar situation and spent days trying to reach someone, but Claimyr got me through in about 20 minutes. They have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/7DieNd3C7zQ?si=26TzE_zGms-DODN3. The agent can tell you exactly what the adjudicator requested and might even be able to connect you with your assigned adjudicator.

•This actually worked for me too when I couldn't find my adjudication questions. The ESD phone agents can read you the exact questions if you can get through to them!

Same thing happened to me!!! It's under "Decisions" not Messages!!! Go to your claim status page and look for a tab or link about decisions or determinations. For some stupid reason ESD puts adjudicator questions there and not in regular messages. Their website is THE WORST.

•Oh my god THANK YOU!! I just found it under Decisions! You're right - their website organization makes no sense. Why wouldn't they put this under Messages?? I was so stressed about this!

For future reference, it's always a good practice to take screenshots of important ESD messages before closing them. Their system is notoriously difficult to navigate. The fact that you had to contact the governor's office to get movement after 7 weeks is unfortunately common. Adjudicator messages can appear in several different places depending on the type of information they're requesting: 1. Letters & Notices (for formal requests) 2. Decisions (for questions related to eligibility determinations) 3. Messages (for general communications) 4. Alerts (which unfortunately do disappear after reading) Glad you found it! Make sure to respond by their deadline - they're very strict about timeframes and can deny your claim if you miss their response window.

•Taking screenshots is such a good idea. I'll definitely do that from now on. And yes, I've already submitted my response with all the information they requested about my last employer. Fingers crossed they approve my claim now!

This system is BEYOND BROKEN. They make you wait 7 weeks, then hide the important messages in random places, then expect immediate responses or they'll deny your claim?? The people designing these systems have clearly NEVER been unemployed or they wouldn't make it so impossibly complicated. I've been dealing with ESD for 3 months and it's been nothing but problems. Call the governor's office again if they don't respond soon.

Just wondering - did they ask you for information about your previous employer? I'm curious what kind of questions the adjudicator sent because I'm still waiting for mine to contact me (5 weeks and counting).

•Yes, they wanted more details about why I left my last job. They asked for dates, any documentation I had about the separation, and contact information for my supervisor. They also asked if I had any additional information I wanted them to consider for my claim. Pretty standard stuff, but important to answer thoroughly!
