If you fire someone can they collect unemployment - Washington ESD rules?
I'm a small business owner and had to terminate an employee last week for performance issues (chronic tardiness, not meeting sales targets). Now I'm wondering if they can still collect unemployment benefits from Washington ESD? I documented everything but I'm worried about my unemployment insurance rates going up. Does anyone know how this works in Washington state?
