Identity adjudication cleared but no next steps shown on ESD portal - what now?

Finally got through identity adjudication after 3 weeks (they flagged me because my driver's license was renewed right before I filed), but now I'm confused about what happens next. My ESD account shows no pending issues anymore and the identity verification flag is gone, but there's nothing telling me what to do next. No prompts to upload anything, no messages, no instructions. Do I just wait for payments to start automatically? Do I need to call someone? The last weekly claim I filed still shows as 'pending' even though the adjudication is gone. First-time filer here and totally lost!

Congrats on clearing identity verification! When mine cleared in January, payments started automatically within 48 hours. Just keep filing your weekly claims on time and the money should start coming. If nothing changes after about 3 business days, then you probably should contact them.

Thanks, that's a relief! I'll wait a few days then. Does the status of my weekly claims change from 'pending' to something else when they process them?

mine took like 6 days after the id verify thing cleared up. just keep checking your account every morning. they dont always send emails when the money is coming

The system is actually working as designed in your case. Once identity adjudication clears, there's an automated review that happens in the background. Your weekly claims will remain 'pending' until that process completes. If you had other issues besides identity verification, those would be listed separately on your account. Here's what you should do: 1. Keep filing your weekly claims as normal 2. Check your online account daily for status changes 3. Look for deposits to your bank account or ESD debit card (depending on what payment method you selected) If nothing happens after 5 business days, there may be another issue that isn't showing up in your portal. About 15% of claims have hidden flags that require agent intervention.

That's super helpful information, thank you! I didn't realize there could be a 'hidden' issue that's not visible to me. I've been checking daily but still nothing after 3 days now. Do you know if there's any way to tell if I have one of those hidden flags?

Unfortunately there's no way to see hidden flags in your online account - they're only visible to ESD agents. It's frustrating, I know. If nothing changes by tomorrow (day 4), I'd recommend trying to speak with an agent to check if there are any additional issues that need to be resolved.

I had the EXACT situation in February!! Identity verification finally cleared then NOTHING for a week. I kept hitting redial trying to get through to ESD but would just get disconnections. Then I found this service called Claimyr that got me through to an agent in 25 minutes! The agent told me there was a secondary review happening that wasn't showing up online. They manually cleared it and my payments started processing the next day. Check out their demo video to see how it works: https://youtu.be/7DieNd3C7zQ?si=26TzE_zGms-DODN3 - website is claimyr.com. Saved me from freaking out for another two weeks!

Has anyone else used this Claimyr thing? Seems sketchy to pay for something when you can just keep calling yourself. I've always gotten through eventually (like after 50-60 tries lol).

I'm really sorry you're going through that. I didn't mean to sound insensitive. I was just confused because the system doesn't tell you what to expect next. I hope your situation gets resolved soon.

I understand your frustration, but everyone's situation is different. Many people are first-time filers and don't know what to expect. For your situation, I'd recommend reaching out to your state representative - they can sometimes help expedite claims that have been stuck for extended periods.

Just checking back - any update? Did your payments start processing yet?

Yes! It just updated this morning - five days after the identity adjudication cleared. All my pending weekly claims changed to 'paid' status and the payment is scheduled for tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your help and advice!
