If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

One more thing - if you have any issues with your claim getting stuck in 'adjudication' or pending status, don't just wait around. That's when you really need to get someone on the phone at Washington ESD to figure out what's holding it up.

This happened to me and I waited 2 months thinking it would resolve itself. Finally used that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier and found out they needed one simple form from me. Got it sorted in a week after that.

Exactly! Sometimes it's something really minor that's holding up the whole claim, but you can't find out what unless you actually talk to someone.

thanks everyone this has been super helpful! I feel way less confused about the whole process now. Gonna file my claim tonight and hopefully get this sorted out

Good luck! Remember to file your weekly claims every week even if your initial claim is still processing. Don't skip any weeks or you could lose benefits for those periods.

Will do, thanks for all the help everyone. This community is awesome!

Just want to add that mental health is important too when you're unemployed. The stress of not knowing your benefit amounts and dealing with ESD bureaucracy can really get to you. Take care of yourself during this process.

0 coins

Thanks for saying that. It's been really stressful trying to figure all this out on top of losing my job.

It gets easier once your claim is approved and you get into a routine with the weekly filings. Hang in there.

Good luck with your claim! The waiting and uncertainty is the worst part but most straightforward layoff claims get approved without issues. You should know your exact benefit amount within a week or two of filing.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice. Feeling much more prepared to file my claim now.

0 coins

You've got this! Just remember to file those weekly claims religiously even when it feels pointless.

One more tip - keep copies of everything you submit. With multiple claims, it's easy to forget what documentation you provided for which claim if issues come up later.

Great advice! I'll make sure to keep digital copies of all my forms and documents.

The bottom line is yes, you can absolutely file multiple unemployment claims with Washington ESD. Just make sure you meet the work and wage requirements for each new benefit year.

Perfect! Thanks everyone for all the helpful information. I feel much more confident about filing my second claim now.

This whole thread has been super helpful! I feel way better about my seasonal unemployment situation now. Sounds like it's totally normal and Washington ESD expects it.

Same here! Really glad I asked this question because I was worried I was doing something wrong.

That's what these forums are for - helping each other navigate the unemployment system. Seasonal work is definitely common and legitimate.

To summarize for anyone reading this later: Seasonal unemployment from tourism, agriculture, and similar industries is very common in Washington state. You still need to meet job search requirements unless you're on standby status. Report all income and file your weekly claims on time. The system is designed to work with seasonal employment patterns.

Perfect summary! This thread answered all my questions about seasonal unemployment benefits.

Bookmarking this thread for next year when I file my seasonal claim. Great information from everyone.

Based on everything you've described, you should definitely qualify. $18K in earnings with a mix of full-time and part-time work, plus an involuntary separation - that checks all the boxes for Washington ESD eligibility.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful responses! Feeling much more confident about filing my claim now.

Good luck with your claim! The eligibility requirements seem scary at first but most people who've been working qualify without issues. Just make sure to file your weekly claims on time once you get started.

Will do! Really appreciate everyone taking the time to explain everything clearly.
