Last tip - make sure your contact information is current in your account. Washington ESD needs to be able to reach you for any questions about your claim, and outdated phone numbers or addresses can cause delays.
Been through this process twice now and the second time was much faster because I knew exactly what to expect and had all my documentation ready upfront. First time took 4 weeks, second time took 2 weeks.
Bottom line: 2-3 weeks is normal, don't panic before then. Keep filing weekly claims, keep job searching, and the determination will come. Washington ESD may be slow but they're pretty reliable once you get in the system.
For anyone else reading this later - make sure you don't wait too long to file your weekly claim even if you're having PIN issues. You can sometimes file late but it's easier to just get the PIN fixed ASAP.
Final update: Got my PIN reset and weekly claim filed! Used Claimyr like others suggested and it worked perfectly. Thanks to everyone who helped - this community is amazing.
Hope everything works out with your job situation! At least now you know what to expect if you do need to file for unemployment.
One more resource - WorkSource Washington has career counselors who can help with job searching if you do end up unemployed. They work with the unemployment system.

Whatever you do, make sure you answer all the weekly claim questions honestly. They do audit claims and if they find you lied about anything you could end up with an overpayment that you have to pay back with penalties.

•What kind of questions do they ask on the weekly claims?

•Things like did you work, did you look for work, are you able and available for work, did you refuse any job offers. Pretty standard stuff but be accurate.

if you get laid off and your employer contests your claim it can delay everything while it goes through adjudication. hope that doesn't happen to you but just be aware it's a possibility

•sometimes they claim it was misconduct instead of a layoff to avoid their unemployment insurance rates going up. its frustrating but it happens

•I had this happen and it took 6 weeks to resolve. Definitely try to get documentation from your employer about the reason for separation.
