Just wanted to add - if your claim gets denied for any reason, don't panic. You can appeal the decision. You have 30 days from the date of the determination to file an appeal.
One more thing - make sure your contact information is current in your Washington ESD account. They'll send important notices by mail and email, and if they can't reach you it can cause problems with your claim.
I was worried about the same thing when I first applied. The SNAP worker explained that they look at all sources of income, including unemployment, Social Security, part-time work, everything. It's better to report it all accurately.
Just want to echo what others have said - yes, report your Washington ESD unemployment income on your SNAP application. The income verification process will catch it anyway, so being upfront from the start makes everything smoother.
washington esd benefit amounts are based on your highest quarter earnings but you need to have worked in at least two quarters of your base period to qualify. also need minimum total earnings which i think is around $3800 now
Final thought - don't stress too much about the exact amount until you actually file and get your determination letter. The calculators give estimates but your official benefit amount depends on the exact wage records Washington ESD has on file for you.
Thanks for this thread! I bookmarked it because I'm sure I'll need this information eventually. Job market is still pretty uncertain.
Final update: I used Claimyr yesterday and got through to Washington ESD in about 15 minutes. The agent confirmed that filing a final weekly claim with employment information is definitely the correct way to close out a claim. She said it prevents 90% of the overpayment issues they see. Worth the peace of mind!

Sometimes if you recently changed your bank account information with Washington ESD, there can be delays while they verify the new account. This happened to me and took an extra 2 days.

•I haven't changed anything recently so that shouldn't be the issue.

•Banking information changes definitely cause delays. Washington ESD has to verify new accounts before processing deposits.

Tuesday morning between 2-6 AM is the standard for Washington ESD deposits. Your bank might show it as pending first before making it available. Check both your pending and available balances.

•I'll make sure to check both. Thanks for the tip!

•Yeah, some banks show ACH deposits as pending for a few hours before making them available. Chase usually does this.
