If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

The two-quarter requirement is pretty standard across most states, but the earnings thresholds vary. Washington's requirements are actually pretty reasonable compared to some other places.

Good to know! I was worried it might be really hard to qualify working part-time, but it sounds like it's doable if you work consistently.

0 coins

Yeah, as long as you're earning decent wages in those quarters, part-time work can definitely qualify you. The key is consistency and meeting those earnings thresholds.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful info! I feel like I understand the requirements much better now. Hopefully I won't need to use this information, but it's good to know where I stand.

You're welcome! It's always smart to understand your benefits before you need them.

0 coins

Agreed. Most people don't think about unemployment until they're already unemployed, which makes everything more stressful.

Glad we could help. Good luck with your claim issues everyone!

Final thought - if none of the regular calling methods work out, definitely consider the Claimyr service. I was skeptical at first but it really does work for getting through to Washington ESD when you're stuck.

0 coins

thanks for the recommendation, might be my backup plan

0 coins

Multiple people here have vouched for it so it seems legit. Good to have options.

I'm going through something similar right now and the Washington ESD PFML application process is actually pretty straightforward once you get started. Way easier than I expected after hearing horror stories about regular unemployment claims.

0 coins

That's reassuring! I was dreading dealing with government paperwork while pregnant.

0 coins

The online portal is actually pretty user-friendly. Just make sure you have your medical provider's information ready.

0 coins

One last tip - if you end up needing to call Washington ESD about PFML, try calling right when they open at 8 AM. That's when I had the best luck getting through without waiting forever.

0 coins

Or use that Claimyr service someone mentioned earlier. I tried the early morning calling and still couldn't get through.

0 coins

Thanks everyone! This has been incredibly helpful. I feel much more confident about my options now.

The key is to file your claim as soon as possible after losing your job. You can't get benefits for weeks before you file, even if you were eligible. I waited too long and lost out on a few weeks of benefits.

0 coins

I'm planning to file this week. Is there anything else I should know before I start the application?

0 coins

Have your employment history ready - dates, addresses, and reasons for leaving each job. The application asks for detailed information about your work history.

0 coins

Used Claimyr again yesterday to get clarification on benefit amounts for a friend who was confused about the calculation. The agent explained that part-time work while on unemployment reduces your benefits dollar-for-dollar after the first $5. Good to know if you're planning to take any part-time work while collecting.

0 coins

That's useful information. I might need to do some part-time work to make ends meet.

0 coins

Just make sure you report it accurately on your weekly claims. Better to be transparent than risk an overpayment issue later.

0 coins

One more tip - if your employer does contest your claim and you disagree with the initial decision, you can appeal. Don't give up if the first decision doesn't go your way.

0 coins

Good to know there's an appeal process. Hopefully it won't come to that, but it's reassuring to know I have options.

0 coins

The appeal process is pretty fair from what I've seen. You get to present your case to an administrative law judge who reviews everything independently.

Update us on how it goes! I'm sure other people will be in similar situations and your experience could help them.

0 coins

I will definitely update once I hear back from Washington ESD. Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice and encouragement!

0 coins

Good luck! Remember that most people who file for valid reasons do get approved eventually.
