When will 2025 Social Security COLA letters arrive? Different timeline this year?

Really? Are you sure that's not last year's letter you found? I don't think they've started sending them yet. My sister works for SSA and she said the new batch isn't going out until December 10th at the earliest.

Oh that could explain it! My mom has been on widow's benefits since 1994, but my dad just started his retirement benefits in 2021.

We're only getting 2.5% which is a JOKE! Last year was 3.2% and the year before was 8.7%. They're slowly chipping away at our benefits while everything gets more expensive!
