I just got approved for ssdi. On my social security app it says on the 3rd of August I have a payment due which is my normal expected amount. My bank has a pending deposit with a 310 code for the 10th. Im confused? Im expected back pay but it's only been a week since they received my direct deposit info.

Brandi, sorry this went unanswered. Right after an approval, a deposit outside your regular payment day may well be your back pay (SSA calls it past-due benefits). Your award letter lists the past-due amount. If a deposit doesn't match the letter, call SSA and ask what the payment is for.
