Will I qualify for unemployment if I have to quit due to job relocating? Current travel 50 miles to work (1 hr). Employer is relocating 25 miles further (extra 30 minutes travel). It's a hybrid-remote job. Only travel 3 days/wk. Will be an extra 3 hrs & 200 miles in travel/wk. Also substantially changing my scheduled in-office hours. Current in-office hours are 9am-12/1pm (whenever in-office work is done). Remainder of schedule is work from home as needed (I'm salary & we're "on call" 24/7, work a lot of night time hours). Now required in office 7am - 2:30pm. I have children, single mom, when school starts I have no way to make sure they get up & off to school since I will have to leave at 5:30am after relocation. I've discussed these issues with my employer citing the hardships it will create personally & financially that may force me to quit, but they've offered no sort of cooperation to help me keep my job. I appreciate any advice!
