Who is in charge of unemployment claims at NYS Department of Labor?
I'm having issues with my unemployment claim and need to know who's actually in charge at NYS Department of Labor. My weekly claims keep getting flagged and I can't figure out who to contact about it. Is there like a supervisor or department head I can reach out to? The regular customer service line just keeps putting me on hold for hours. I've been unemployed for 6 weeks now and really need to get this sorted out.

I had the same problem with flagged claims last year. You can try reaching out to your local career center - they sometimes have direct contacts at NYS Department of Labor.
