New York Unemployment: Weekly Payment Processing Delay?

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my unemployment payment this week. The system says it's processing, but it's only showing last week's info below. I've got plenty of days and money left, and I'm only 4 weeks into my claim. Usually, it shows as processed by now after I file on Sunday. Anyone else experiencing this?

I found a way to solve unemployment payment processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9DQOhdU8WQ

Hang in there guys. Sometimes the system just lags a bit. Give it till tomorrow morning before panicking.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Sounds too good to be true. How does it actually work? Is it legit?

Idk man, paying to get through seems sketchy. Shouldn't this be a free service?

I get the skepticism, but it's legit. They basically do the waiting for you. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Can confirm, I used Claimyr too. It's a game-changer when you're desperate to talk to someone.

This happens sometimes. The ny unemployment system is about as reliable as a chocolate teapot πŸ™„ Just wait it out, it'll probably update overnight.

Okay, let's break this down for everyone experiencing delays: 1. Don't panic! System glitches are common. 2. Wait at least 24-48 hours before taking action. 3. Check your bank account - sometimes the money arrives even if the system doesn't update. 4. If it's still not resolved, try these steps: - Log out and log back in - Clear your browser cache - Try a different device 5. Still no luck? Time to contact them. Options: - Call the helpline (be prepared for long waits) - Use the message center on your account - Try the Claimyr service (claimyr.com) if you're desperate to get through 6. Document everything - dates, times, who you spoke to 7. Check for any announcements on the NYSDOL website or social media Remember, you're not alone in this. The system is overloaded and glitchy, but payments usually come through eventually. Hang in there! πŸ’ͺ

Good advice. I'd add: if you're really stuck, reach out to your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things through.

Am I the only one who thinks its ridiculous we have to jump through all these hoops just to get our benefits? The system is broken af 😀

Lol good luck. I once waited 4 hours only to get disconnected. Try that Claimyr thing someone mentioned earlier (claimyr.com). Worked for me.

Pro tip: call right when they open. You might get lucky and get through quicker.

Y'all need to chill. It's probably just a glitch. Give it a day or two before freaking out.

I swear, every time I think I've learned the ropes of this unemployment system, they throw a new curveball. Anyone else feel like they're constantly playing catch-up? πŸ˜…

Quick question - does anyone know if this delay affects direct deposit too? Or is it just showing up weird on the website?

In my experience, the money usually hits my account even when the website is being funky. Check your bank!
