Which tax filing software gives best refund? TurboTax vs TaxSlayer vs Others for max credits?
Looking to file my taxes and want to make sure I get every possible credit and deduction. Been comparing different services but cant decide. TurboTax seems expensive but maybe worth it? TaxSlayer is cheaper but worried about missing something. Anyone have experience with different services? What gives the best refund?

Tax professional here. Honestly, all major tax software will give you similar results if you input the same information correctly. The difference is mainly in user interface and support. If you have a simple return (W2, standard deduction) any will work fine. For complex situations (self-employed, multiple income streams, investments) might want to consider a CPA.

With crypto trades, you might want something more robust. TurboTax handles crypto well, but FreeTaxUSA is good too and wayyy cheaper
