TurboTax vs H&R Block - Which is actually worth it for 2024 filing?
I need to file my taxes and I'm torn between TurboTax and H&R Block. Both seem to have similar prices but I keep hearing mixed things. Anyone have experience with both? My taxes aren't super complicated, just W2s and some stocks I sold last year.

Tax professional here - honestly both are decent for basic returns, but there are some key differences. TurboTax has a smoother interface but H&R Block often has better pricing. The big thing is neither is great if you have complicated situations like self-employment or multiple investment accounts. If its just W2s and basic stock sales, either will work fine but personally I prefer TurboTax's interface.
